Meet Agent is an online marketplace designed to connect clients who are looking for professional real estate services with real estate agents.

Selling or buying a home is a significant decision, and we understand how important it is to get it right. At Meet Agent, we strive to create a marketplace that empowers sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants to connect with local real estate agents who can provide the best service at the lowest cost.

Real estate agents can register and create a profile to showcase their expertise, specialties and experience. Clients can browse these profiles to find an agent who best fits their needs or submit details about their specific requirements and be matched with appropriate agents. By allowing clients to compare the service, specialty, experience and commission fees of local agents, Meet Agent empowers them to make an informed decision about which agent to work with.

At the same time, Meet Agent provides real estate agents with a platform to receive quality leads and expand their customer base. We believe that connecting with the right real estate agent can make all the difference in achieving your real estate goals, and we strive to create a marketplace that facilitates this connection.

1. In Request tab, fill out the form as below,

▪ Sell, Buy or Rent. Select whether you are selling, buying or renting the home. If you are renting the home, indicate whether you are the landlord or tenant.

▪ About the home. Tell a bit more about the home you are selling, buying or renting, including the location, home type, price range, size, number of rooms and year built.

▪ About the agent. Select the specialty of the agent, minimum years of experience and the languages they can speak.

▪ About the service. Select the service you need - full service, limited service or entry only service. Enter the maximum commission fee* you’d like to pay. Enter a message describing your requirements.

*This is a percentage of the home sales price. Typically, real estate commission is 5%–6% of the home’s sale price. If you're buying a home, you usually don’t have to pay real estate agent commission; if you're selling a home, you usually pay commission to both your listing agent and the buyer’s agent. There are no laws or regulations in the U.S. dictating commission rates, so agents may be willing to negotiate lower rates depending on the type of transaction, the required services and the relationship.

▪ How to publish your request. You can choose to let us either email your request to recommended real estate agents or post your request on the Leads Wall or both.

- Email your request to recommended real estate agents. If you only need a limited selection of agents to review you request, you can choose this option. Your request will be emailed to up to 20 top-ranked real estate agents who meet your requirements. (How are agents ranked on Meet Agent?)

- Post your request on the Leads Wall. If you allow all listed agents on Meet Agent to review your request, you can choose this option. Your request will be posted in the Leads tab but only registered agents who already published their profile can view your contact information.

▪ Choose the expire date for your request. Once the request is submitted, you can still change the expire date via the link in the confirmation email before it expires. Expired request will not be recommended to agents and you will not receive new offers or replies from agents.

▪ Contact information. Leave your full name, email address and phone number (optional) for the agent to reach out to you.

2. After submitting the form, you will receive a verification email at the email address you provided. Click on the link in the email to verify your email address, and your request will be posted or sent to the selected agents. Additionally, you can use the link in the same email to view the request details or change the expiry date.

1. By phone number. Visit the agent's profile page and you will find the agent's phone number on top.

2. By email. Visit the agent's profile page and in the "Contact Me" section on the right-hand side, you can fill out your full name, email address, phone number, and your message to the agent. Click on "Contact", and an email will be sent to the agent.

To post a review for the real estate agent you worked with, follow these steps:

1. Find the profile page of the agent you worked with.

2. Scroll down to the Review section and click on “Post Reviews”

3. Select a rating for your agent. On a scale from 1 to 5 stars, choose the overall rating of this agent.

4. Describe in detail your experience with this agent. Make sure you follow the Review Guidelines to give honest and respectful comments.

5. Service provided. Select the service provided by the agent.

6. Year of service. Enter the year when the service was provided by the agent.

7. Property address. Enter the address of the real estate property that was sold, bought or rented. Your address will never be published publicly.

8. Choose to post your review anonymously or not.

9. Enter your name, regardless of whether you choose to post anonymously or not.

10. Enter your email address. Your email address will never be published publicly.

After you submit the review, it will typically be approved within 24 hours. Once it’s approved, the review will display in the agent's review section.

1. Sign up with Meet agent and a verification email will be sent to your registered email address. Click the link in the email to verify your email and activate your account.

2. Complete your profile information as a real estate agent.

▪ My profile. Enter your name, brokerage, professional license, service area, specialty, languages, etc. Please ensure that all the information is accurate and correct. We will suspend or remove accounts if any false profile is reported.

- Publish my profile in the agent list. You can choose to publish your profile in the agent list so people can view and contact you. In the meantime, you will be able to view the request details including the message and contact information from the client.

- Receive request email notification. You can choose to join the list of agents who want to receive email notifications from us if the client chooses to send a request to a limited selection of agents whose profile meets their requirements.

▪ About me. Introduce yourself regarding your background, experience, and passion as a real estate agent.

When clients search for agents, the agent names are not shown randomly in the results. Each listed agent will receive a ranking based on profile details, professionalism, experience, reviews, and website activity.

▪ Profile details: Agents with a profile picture, website, social media channels, videos, and a detailed self-introduction will have a higher ranking.

▪ Professionalism: Agents with more professional licenses will have a higher ranking.

▪ Experience: Agents with more experience will have a higher ranking.

▪ Reviews: Agents with more reviews and higher ratings will have a higher ranking.

▪ Website activity: Agents who sign in to Meet Agent more frequently will have a higher ranking.

Each factor will be assigned a weight, and the agents will receive an overall ranking based on the algorithm's calculation.

If the client chooses to send the request to only a limited selection of agents, we will pick up to 20 agents among the top-ranked ones whose profile matches the client's requirements and send the request to these agents by email.

Go to the Request Reviews section in your Profile Tab and complete the form to ask your clients for a review. Each client will receive an email with a link asking them to review you on Meet Agent.

▪ Enter your past clients' email addresses. Separate multiple email addresses with a comma.

▪ Enter the message. You can change the default message as needed.
